man United close in E50m deal Chelsea star to follow Sarri to juventus
Manchester United are reportedly closing in on a £50m deal for a Bournemouth winger, while a Chelsea star is set to follow Maurizio Sarri to Juventus, according to Thursday’s papers.
MAN UTD KEEN ON DEAL FOR £50 BOURNEMOUTH ACE
With Romelu Lukaku seemingly closing in on a £75m switch to Inter Milan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to boost his attacking ranks with the £50m signing of Bournemouth forward David Brooks.
A report in The Sun claims that the Red Devils boss is keen on landing the boyhood United fan, who was on the books of bitter rivals Manchester City as a youngster.
The 21-year-old, has also been a major target for Tottenham, joined the Cherries in an £11.5m deal from Sheffield United last summer and scored seven goals, while also laying on five assists last season.
Having taken so well to life in England’s top flight, Brooks was handed a lucrative new deal in March of this year – and while Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is not keen on selling his star man, it is thought that an offer of £50m will be too good to turn down.
United have already signed one pacy attacker this summer, in Daniel James, and clearly have a new transfer policy under Solskjaer – to bring in young, vibrant British talent.
Another player who appears to be close to a move to Old Trafford is Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with reports on Wednesday night claiming that a £55m deal had been agreed for the England Under-21 star.
