Psg offered neymar to man United on one condition
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have offered Neymar to Manchester United in a proposed swap deal with Paul Pogba, claims talkSPORT presenter Andy Goldstein, According to Express.co.uk.
However, Goldstein says Manchester United have rejected the offer due to Neymar’s extortionate wage demands.
Neymar is linked with a move away from PSG just two years after his world-record move from, Barcelona.
Reports claim the Brazil star is keen on a return to Barca in this transfer window.
However, United have been offered the chance of signing the 27-year-old according to Goldstein.
He claims PSG want to sign United midfielder Paul Pogba, who himself declared earlier this month he is interested on taking on a challenge away from Old Trafford.
However, Goldstein says United have been put off a deal because of how much Neymar wants to be paid each week.
“My understanding is that PSG said ‘we’ll take Pogba and give you Neymar’,” Goldstein said.
“But United, if this is true, United backed out because Neymar’s wage demands were so preposterous.
“Neymar to United, I would rather have Neymar than Pogba.
“Neymar at United! Do the deal, get it done. That’s the one, isn’t it?
“Wouldn’t it be great to see him in the Premier League.
“Get the deal done. You’d make the money back in shirt sales in the first hour.”
Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy is not a big fan of Neymar but would like to see him play in England.
“I’m not a huge Neymar fan,” Cundy said.
“I think he is overrated.
“He is one of the biggest names in world football and it would be fascinating what he would do in England.”
