What Hazard told Chelsea team-mates in WhatsApp group before Real Madrid move

Chelsea defender, Emerson Palmeri, has revealed what Eden Hazard told his former team-mates, as his Real Madrid move was confirmed earlier this month.

Hazard sealed his “dream move” to the Santiago Bernabeu and was unveiled in front of about 55,000 fans.

But Palmieri admits he couldn’t believe the Belgian was gone until he left their WhatsApp group with an emotional parting message.

“On the WhatsApp group, the last move there was Hazard’s farewell.

“He said goodbye to the boys and such, since then, we don’t know anything else. It’s weird.

“He sent a ‘thank you, I love you guys’, and then it showed ‘Eden Hazard left the group’.

“I said damn, he really left,” Palmieri told ESPN Brazil.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to hand Neymar a bumper £528,000-a-week deal as they look to seal a deal to bring the Brazilian to Old Trafford.
