man United fans all say the same thing as Alexis Sanchez put in a brilliant performance in Chile copa America
MANCHESTER UNITED fans all said the same thing after Alexis Sanchez put in a stunning performance for Chile.
The Red Devils star has suffered a difficult time at Old Trafford.
Sanchez has only scored five goals in 45 appearances in all competitions after four prolific seasons with Arsenal.
This has seen the 30-year-old heavily criticisedby fans throughout the campaign.
It did not stop the forward getting a call-up to the Chile squad for the Copa America.
Sanchez is the top-scorer for his country with 42 goals.
And he was a key part of the South American side’s 4-0 win over Japan earlier today.
The forward provided an assist to Eduardo Vargas for the last goal of the game.
Sanchez also won 10 duels and five fouls to go alongside his 100 per-cent tackle success rate.
The Chilean’s performance comes as:
- Ed Woodward could take transfer control from Solskjaer
- Fans love why Marcus Rashford is extending his contract
- Bruno Fernandes will be signed, fans say
“Great – maybe someone will take him now”

And the United star even got on the scoreboard himself.
Footage shows Chile leading the game 2-0 with eight minutes to go.
The ball is played around by the South Americans in a slick style.
Charles Aranguiz plays the ball deep into the penalty box before floating a cross in.
Sanchez runs in from deep to drive a header into the bottom-left corner.
That goal was his first since January, against his former club Arsenal in the FA Cup.
But the United faithful believed the performance would help the club for a different reason amid suggestions they could cash in on the 30-year-old this summer.
“Hopefully this puts him more on those Chinese clubs’ radars,” one supporter said.
Another commented: “Great – maybe someone will take him now.”
While a third added: “Hopefully, a good Copa America will convince someone to take a punt on him.”
This comes as Ed Woodward could be set for a battle with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
