Chelsea former striker set to juon ronaldo in juventus
According to reports in Daily Mirror, Former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could be joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus amid transfer speculation linking with a move away from Manchester United to Inter Milan.
The Belgium international has been strongly linked with a move to the Nerazzuris who are being coached by former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte this summer with Red Devils rejecting a £54m bid for the player from Inter earlier this month.
Latest reports from Italy confirmed that the Serie A champions are putting up a last minute bid for Lukaku. According to Sky Sports News, they are willing to offer Argentina international Paulo Dybala to Man United in order to try to land their man.
Dybala had a good season a good season in 2017/18 season where he was one the key players at Juventus scoring 22 goals in 33 appearances in Serie A. His form went down the drain with the arrival of Ronaldo from Real Madrid, where he only managed to find the back of the net just five times in 30 Serie A appearances.
Another team who have been linked with the 25-year-old is Premier League side Tottenham, and United may well be tempted into a deal which involves the player. Manchester United are holding out for a transfer fee of around £80m for Lukaku, but they would presumably be willing to accept a smaller amount if they are to get Dybala in the deal.
Juventus are one of the busiest teams in Europe this summer transfer window, bringing the likes of Cristian Romero and Matthijs de Ligt as well as getting Gianluigi Buffon, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot all for free.
Manchester United will be hoping the deal can be completed in time so as to prepare for their Premier League opener against Lukaku’s former club Chelsea.
