Manchester United set to be announce Maguire transfer

Harry Maguire’s transfer to Manchester United looks set to be announced soon as the full details of the fee have been revealed. A report in the Independent states that the Leicester star’s move to Man Utd is ‘imminent’, with an official announcement expected shortly.

The England international finally looks set to complete his move to Old Trafford, with the fee expected to be an initial £70million and then a further £10m in add-ons. That is in stark contrast to reports on Sunday, which claimed that the deal was on the brink of collapse after United refused the met the player’s valuation.
The Independent also reports that United are continuing to work on signing Sporting Lisbon attacking midfielder Fernandes.
The Portugal international playmaker has been a major target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all summer and a report from O Jogo, as translated by Sport Witness, suggested Sporting were now preparing for the player’s exit.

Both Maguire and Fernandes would provide major upgrades in United’s defence and midfield as Solskjaer’s men look to get back in the top four ahead of the start of the new Premier League season.
