A man who is yet-to-be identified has gone on social media to flex some serious moola. In the video footage, the man is seen sitting in his car surrounded by a large sum of money.

Speaking to an unknown person over the phone, the man confirms that he has about N48.6 million in cash with him. Many social media users had mixed reactions about the brazen display of money.

While some are hoarding cash and even flaunting for the world to see, a young man was recently left heartbroken by his family. Legit.ng had earlier reported how a Nigerian man returned home from Europe after 13 years only to discover that his family had squandered all the money he worked hard to safe.

However, in this case, the south African man is seen enjoy the presence of all the cash he has and made sure to display it online so people can recognise how wealth and rich he is.

Some social media users condemned the display with some arguing that truly wealthy people don't show off. A Twitter user Mdudk said: "Actually, people who are comfortably rich, do not not stoop this low."

Another Twitter user, NaVhugala said: "This is the type of black men I’m not interested in."

Many others also shared a similar sentiment, saying that the display was completely unnecessary and putting a target on oneself for criminals.

Meanwhile, a Methodist church priest, Rev. Peter Adegoke Adewuyi, has been arrested by the Ekiti State Police Command after he allegedly faked his own kidnap to collect ransom from church members and family members.

The Nation reports that the 31-year-old priest lodged in a hotel in Ado-Ekiti and hid from public view from where he and his accomplice were making calls to the members of the public to pay ransom for his release.
