Naira Marley finally regains freedom after 35 days In custody
Nigerian hip-hop artist Naira Marley has finally regained freedom from the custody of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after spending more than two weeks in custody.
In a video that is making the rounds on social media, the hip-hop artist who was released on bail, was seen in company of his mother and some other members of his crew.
Recall that Legit.ng previously gathered that the singer's was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with landed properties in Lagos.
However, when it appeared that the singer was not going to regain his freedom soon, many started to peddle rumors online that he could not find anyone to stand in as surety to fulfill his bail conditions.
Reacting to the allegations, Marley's management revealed via his social media page that contrary to what was being said, his two sureties had been provided and the delay was only as a result of the verification process by the EFCC.
