Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera have had their summer exits confirmed by
Manchester United .
The Old Trafford giants are preparing for a huge squad overhaul ahead of next season and popular duo Valencia and Herrera are among 15 players to be released after coming to the end of their contracts.
United opted against offering Valencia a new deal and the United captain, who arrived at the club 10 years ago, has been touted with a switch to the MLS.
Midfielder Herrera had already announced his exit last month after failing to agree terms on an extension at Old Trafford, and is expected to sign for French giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Sessegnon set to refuse contract
Ryan Sessegnon is reportedly set to refuse a new Fulham contract as he eyes a move to Spurs.
The youngster is out of contract next summer and is the subject of plenty of interest.
According to the Guardian, he is now set to force the issue and has told the Cottagers he wants to leave.

Following their relegation to the Championship, Cardiff have confirmed the players who will be leaving the club this summer.
They include former Crystal Palace midfielder Stuart O’Keefe, who has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in Wales.
Tottenham confirm goalkeeper departure
Tottenham have confirmed the departure of Michel Vorm.
The goalkeeper has played second fiddle to Hugo Lloris in north London and will now seek pastures new.
Adrien Rabiot transfer saga takes shock twist as PSG outcast opens contract talks
Adrien Rabiot has been persona non grata at Paris Saint-Germain since December.
The France international, a homegrown product, is out of contract this summer and his refusal to ink a new deal has seen him ostracised at the Parc des Princes.
Contract negotiations between player and club broke down at the end of 2018 and Rabiot has since been exiled, training alone since March when his mother and agent, Veronique,
claimed her son as being held “hostage” by the French champions, and treated ‘like a prisoner’.
That came after sporting director Antero Henrique had blasted Rabiot, after being filmed out in Paris in the wake of the club’s Champions League loss to Manchester United.

Manchester United have announced they have agreed a deal to sign Swansea winger Daniel James - and here’s how they could line up.
United will pay Swansea £18million, including add-ons, for the 21-year-old Wales international.
“Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed, in principle, terms with both Swansea and Daniel James for his transfer to the club,” a statement on the Premier League side’s official website read.
“Daniel has successfully completed a medical at the Aon Training Complex. Further details will be communicated once the international transfer window opens next week.”

Team-mate talks up Sane move
Leroy Sane would be a “good fit” at Bayern Munich, claims his Germany team-mate Joshua Kimmich.
Sane’s Manchester City future is uncertain because he slipped down the wingers’ pecking order last season and he is stalling over the Blues’ new contract offer.
Bayern defender Kimmich claims Sane would be a great signing for the Bundesliga champions as they rebuild their side following the departures of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
“I would like to have Leroy at Bayern, that would send the right message,” the right-back told Bild.

Everton release Williams
Everton have released defender Ashley Williams.
The Welsh centre-back will depart Goodison Park this summer at the end of his contract.
He joined from Swansea for £12m in 2016 but spent last season on loan at Stoke.

Boa Morte makes Premier League return as Everton assistant
Luis Boa Morte says he is “excited” to be linking up with Marco Silva again after being appointed as the new Everton assistant manager.
Boa Morte, who has signed a two-year contract, joins the Blues from Israeli side Maccabi Haifa, where he was also assistant manager, and replaces João Pedro Sousa following his appointment as the new head coach of Portuguese side Famalicão
The move to Merseyside sees Boa Morte reunited with Everton manager Silva, with the pair having previously worked together at Sporting Lisbon.

United want two signings
Manchester United are reportedly looking to complete two big-name signings before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad returns for pre-season training next month.
United boss Solskjaer is expected to overhaul his squad this summer after a disappointing season which saw the Red Devils miss out on next season’s Champions League and fail to win any silverware.
The club are looking bring a number of new faces to Old Trafford in the coming weeks, with the focus thought to be on mixing youth and experience.
And The Sun reports that the United hierarchy are hoping to complete at least two deals before the start of July and have made finding a defender a priority.

Arsenal launch Sampdoria swoop
Arsenal have launched a fresh double swoop for Sampdoria duo Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet, according to reports in Italy.
Sampnews24 claim the Gunners have had a €42m bid rejected but they are now planning to raise their proposal to €50m in a bid to land two additions.
Centre-back Andersen would provide a much-needed defensive upgrade for Unai Emery, although local rivals Tottenham are also rumoured to be keen.
Praet, meanwhile, is viewed as a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey in midfield as the Gunners look to strengthen after a tough campaign.
Sampdoria’s president is reportedly likely to accept the latest proposal from Arsenal after they increased the fee.

Spurs offered Draxler
Tottenham have been offered Paris St-Germain’s £35m-rated schemer Julian Draxler as a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen.
Spurs star Eriksen went public on his wish to leave the club this week, with Inter Milan weighing up whether to rival Real Madrid for his signature.
And PSG hope to take advantage of the situation, with Draxler surplus to requirements in Paris as the club looks to sell players to comply with Financial Fair Play.

Brownhill wanted in Premier League
Bristol City midfielder Josh Brownhill is wanted by Premier League clubs.
According to Sky Sports, Brighton and Sheffield United are leading the interest.
Leeds and Derby are also keen after narrowly missing out on promotion.

Man Utd give up on two signings
Manchester United have reportedly given up on signing Jadon Sancho or Declan Rice this summer.
The duo were high on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s list of potential targets as he looks to British talents to lead his Old Trafford revival.
But after the Red Devils missed out on Champions League qualification, the Evening Standard claim Solskjaer has “reluctantly accepted” the pair are out of reach at present.
Sancho looks set to remain at Borussia Dortmund for at least another season, whilst Rice penned a long-term contract at West Ham in December and has shown no signs he wants to leave despite his breakthrough season.

Denmark boss speaks out on Eriksen
Age Hareide is confident that Christian Eriksen’s performances for Denmark will not be affected by his Champions League disappointment or speculation over his future at Tottenham .
The Denmark boss said: “I think the best way to recover is to have a good game.
“If you have a good game after a disappointment you tend to get over it in a quicker way, so I think that is important for him.”
“I don’t speak to the players about their club situations. We have a good relationship with the players and it would be a mix-up if I try to talk about that.”

Draxler rejects Schalke return
Julian Draxler has rejected a potential return to Schalke.
PSG need to raise funds amid FFP concerns and Draxler is one of the player’s who is dispensable at the Parc des Princes.
Representatives for the German side have approached the player’s representatives, according to reports in France.
But Draxler, who has two years left on a big-money deal, has no interest in a return to Gelsenkirchen.

Liverpool enter Fernandes race
Liverpool have joined Tottenham and Manchester United in the transfer battle for Bruno Fernandes, according to reports in Portugal.
Free-scoring midfielder Fernandes has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said to be looking to finalise a move after the Nations League finals.
But according to Record , the Sporting Lisbon star is now wanted by arch rivals Liverpool and Champions League runners-up Spurs.
His agent, Miguel Pinho is now set to fly to London next week for showdown talks with several interested parties to decide where the future of the 24-year-old Portugal international lies.

De Jong makes De Ligt plea
Frenkie de Jong has made no secret of his desire to convince team-mate Matthijs de Ligt to join him at Barcelona .
“I hope De Ligt will come with me to Barça, I hope so,” De Jong said.
“Of course we have talked about his future, but I am clear that it is a matter that he and his family must decide.
“What I can not do is influence his decision. It is something that he must resolve in the next few days with his own. He knows what I would like.”

Chelsea appeal transfer ban
Chelsea have appealed their transfer ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
The Blues were sanctioned by FIFA in February for breaching rules regarding the signing of U18 foreign players.
After an unsuccessful appeal to FIFA in May, they have now escalated the issue in a bid to avoid the two-window punishment.

Barcelona eye Rashford swoop
Barcelona have made an approach for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Nou Camp chief Ernesto Valverde wants to add the England hitman to his forward line alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Rashford has just a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and he is yet to put pen to paper to the bumper £150,000-a-week offer on the table.
The Red Devils have the option of a further year on his deal, but Real Madrid , Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have been closely monitoring Rashford’s situation.
However, Barcelona have made the 21-year-old a priority in this summer’s transfer window, according to SPORT.

Matthijs de Ligt is expected to decide within the next week whether he will join Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain.

Tielemans responds to transfer rumours
Youri Tielemans has responded to speculation over his future - and declared he expects things to be resolved in the next few weeks.
The Belgian impressed on loan at Leicester, who want to keep him, but Manchester United and Tottenham have also been linked.
He said: “We’ll see which club it will be. The only thing I can say is that things are moving.
“A lot of clubs have shown interest and we’ll see in the next few weeks which club it will be.
“(Manchester United and Spurs) are really big teams in England and in Europe so yeah, it’s flattering to hear those names.
“For me, it’s good, it gives me confidence. I’ll just try to play my game on the pitch and to do my best.”

Tottenham have turned their attention to Bruno Fernandes after seeing a bid for Giovani Lo Celso rejected, according to reports in Portugal.
Spurs are believed to have had a bid of £62m rejected for Betis playmaker Lo Celso, with the Spanish club reportedly holding out clubs for to match his £88m release clause.
