Juventus offers three players for pogba and Everton stunning deal to sign zaha

ZAHA TO BE A TOFFEE?
The Sun believe that Everton are about to throw the kitchen sink at Crystal Palace in pursuit of Wilfried Zaha. And by ‘kitchen sink’, we mean James McCarthy, Cenk Tosun and £65m, which Neil Ashton rather generously rounds up to £100m.

He also suggests that Palace’s asking price is now closer to £120m, rather than the £100m reported earlier in the summer, and that Everton would be willing to offer a significant increase on his £130,000-a-week wages. It’s only been a few days since they publicly denied that they would be making any further bids for Zaha, but somehow it does seem plausible.

POGBA…AGAIN
The same cannot be said for Tuttosport’s take on the Paul Pogba situation, mind, which has Juventus offering Blaise Matuidi, Mario Mandzukic and Paulo Dybala (who we already know doesn’t want to join) in exchange for the midfielder.

Really? Much of the last week has been spent discussing how determined Juve are to reformat their attack and how eager they were to bring Romelu Lukaku to the club.

Remember, also, that their midfield has already been made over with Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey this summer, so Pogba would hardly be a pressing need. And – really – they want another protracted Mino Raiola negotiation?

CUT-PRICE ERIKSEN INTERESTING EVERYONE
Spanish daily AS go heavy on Christian Eriksen. Every paper seems to have their version of this story, but they’re convinced that Manchester United already have an agreement to sign Eriksen and that a fee has already been agreed with Tottenham.

The Telegraph have a different take, though, believing that while nobody has an agreement in place yet, Spurs should prepared to be repeatedly low-balled before the transfer deadline, with a host of European clubs – Juventus, both Madrid clubs, and Inter Milan – prepared to exploit his contractual situation with bids of under £50m.

Daniel Levy would love that…

WOLVES CHASING RUGANI
Wolves might not be quite done with their shopping. Jesus Vallejo has joined on loan, Patrick Cutrone has moved from AC Milan, and young Portuguese midfielders Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao have both been signed from Lazio. And The Times have them making a last-minute play for Juventus centre-half Daniele Rugani, who had previously been thought to be on his way to Arsenal.

It’s credible, if for no other reason than it makes sense: Juve have signed Matthijs de Ligt and Merih Demiral this summer, meaning that Rugani is no longer really the heir apparent behind Bonucci and Chiellini, and seems expendable even though Andrea Barzagli has now now retired.

AND THE REST
Norwich want Danny Drinkwater… Bournemouth are the latest club to show an interest in Liverpool’s Harry Wilson… the Laurent Koscielny saga is finally at end, he’s off back to France… Leicester can’t afford Nathan Ake… Burnley want to bring Wayne Rooney back from MLS…but he’s actually going to be a player-coach at Derby.
