Man utd 64m deal confirmed
FERNANDES TO SIGN FOR MAN UTD
One report recently claimed that Manchester United‘s failure to agree a deal for Harry Maguire was holding up a deal for Bruno Fernandes. Well, now that deal is clear for takeoff then maybe we might have some movement on the deal for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder, if indeed United’s interest is real.
A report in Portuguese newspaper Recordclaims Tottenham are now the frontrunners for Fernandes’ signature with Sporting demanding €70m (£64m) for his services. Fernandes and his agent met with Lisbon’s club president and sporting director on Friday to discuss leaving the club with the midfielder provided details of his departure.
Despite the interest from Tottenham, Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nico Schira says that a deal to take Fernandes to United is ‘all confirmed’. Schira wrote on Twitter: “All confirmed! After Portugal Super Cup #BrunoFernandes will leave from #Sporting to #ManchesterUnited. For him is ready a contract by €6M plus bonuses a year. #transfers #MUFF #mutd.”
F*ck knows what is real anymore.
SPURS TO FINALLY GET THEIR MAN
Tottenham will ‘finally’ get their man as they are ‘set to close a deal’ for Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Daily Mail.
The 19-year-old is expected to leave Craven Cottage this summer after Scott Parker’s side were relegated from the Premier League in 2018-19. Sessegnon had played a key role in helping Fulham gain promotion from the Championship, but although he struggled with the upgrade in quality in the top flight, several clubs are still showing an interest in the versatile star.
Tottenham are ‘in the final stages’ of negotiations over a deal for Sessegnon with a fee of around £30m ‘close to being agreed’. Scott Parker still expects Sessegnon to stay, when asked about a possible move on Friday, but it looks like the England under-21 international could be heading to north London.

Sky Sports claim that Arsenal, who have already had two offers turned down, are ‘expected to make a new offer’ for Tierneyin the ‘coming days’. Their second bid is understood to have been turned down due to the way the £25m offer was structured, with too many add-ons.
